Germany’s Gauselmann Group has appointed Mathias Dahms as managing director of Merkur Sports & Gaming with immediate effect.
Dahms takes on the new role after serving more than five years as MD of another of Gauselmann’s German sports betting businesses, operator XTip Sportwetten.
As MD of Merkur Sports & Gaming, Dahms will focus on positioning Gauselmann for a future licensed sports betting market in Germany from 2020 onwards.
