bwin.party is confident that it will resume the bwin sponsorship of the Portuguese professional football league (Liga), despite the current suspension which came into force Monday.
The Portuguese league removed all bwin branding at the start of the week following a court ruling which found bwin’s activities to be illegal. It is the latest attempt in the on-going saga since 2005 to prevent bwin from marketing its services in Portugal, but probably not the last.
