Leading figures from the gambling industry in the UK have a combined fortune in excess of £3.6bn, according to this year’s edition of The Sunday Times Rich List.
There are ten entries in the list who state their source of wealth as “gambling”, with bet365 founders Peter and Denise Coates the only ones to make it into the top 100 of the list, placing 92nd with a £800m fortune, up £50m year-on-year.
