Jean-Luc Moner-Banet, CEO of Switzerland’s Loterie Romande and chairman of the European Lotteries Association’s Sports Committee, has been appointed as the new president of the World Lottery Association (WLA).
Moner-Banet replaces Veikkaus’ Risto Nieminen as president of the WLA, the umbrella organisation for approximately 150 state lottery and gaming operators, having been unanimously elected earlier this week during the World Lottery Summit 2012.
