Malta-licensed iGaming software supplier Yggdrasil Gaming has established a new office in Gibraltar, which will be headed up by iGaming veteran Ulf Norder following his appointment as director of business development.
Norder will be based in the new Gibraltar office, which will support the supplier’s existing bases in Poland and Malta.
Prior to joining Yggdrasil, he spent two years with SHFL entertainment, as part of the Bally-owned supplier’s senior sales team. He also held a similar role with platform provider Tain, as well as positions with Evolution Gaming, Cake Network and the Enet Poker Network.
Yggdrasil chief executive Fredrik Elmqvist commented that Norder’s appointment, and the establishment of the Gibraltar office, was “great news” for his company after a year of impressive growth.
So far this year Yggdrasil has signed deals with a number of leading Scandinavian operators including Unibet, LeoVegas, Mr Green and Vera&John, with its games already live on majority shareholder Cherry’s CherryCasino.com site.
Elmqvist said there was plenty more growth to come, and that Norder’s appointment, with the experience he brings, would be invaluable as Yggdrasil grows “further and faster in the future.”
“I’d like to welcome him to the Yggdrasil family and I can’t wait to build upon the hugely positive momentum we’ve built in the last 12 months,” he added.
The company builds its games by outsourcing the development, allowing it to maintain a rapid release schedule and ensure its products are created at a low cost. It has also launched Jokerizer, its first mobile product.
