The UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) has published its recommendations for fixed odds betting terminals (FOBT), calling for maximum stakes on the machines to be cut from £100 to £2 per spin for certain games.
The regulator has backed the £2 stake for slot games on FOBTs (B2 machines), warning that lowering the stake level further could have a corresponding negative impact on players' staking strategies.
