Isle of Man-based gaming software supplier Pariplay has brought in former Playtech consultant Gil Soffer as its new vice president of sales and business development.

In his new role, Soffer joins Pariplay's management board with responsibility for the company's global sales and business development strategy.

An industry veteran with more than a decade's experience, Soffer spent seven years with Playtech as an international business consultant, joining in 2009.

Until leaving this role in 2016, he was involved in expanding the solutions giant's presence in various European and African markets, also working on broader pre-sales, sales and business development across all verticals and channels.

"As we continue to expand our business within the iGaming sector, we are thrilled to bring on board talented individuals to support in the company's growth," explained Gili Lisani, founder and CEO of Pariplay. "Gil Soffer is an accomplished and knowledgeable professional, and we look forward to his contribution in growing our business and promoting Pariplay's B2B Fusion content hub, as well as our gaming and lottery platforms."

Developing the Fusion content hub will be a key focus of his new role, and he will be expected to bring in new operator clients as well as new software partners for the platform.
