Malta-based iGaming solutions provider Aspire Global has appointed former Cherry CEO Fredrik Burvall and former Ongame managing director Carl Klingberg to its board of directors.
Aspire Global chief executive Tsachi Maimon said the two appointments will give the company additional experience and expertise, complementing its existing directors and management team.
“The knowledge and networks our new directors provide will support new strategic initiatives and strengthen the organisation’s connections within the online gaming sector,” he said. “The fact that both new directors are Swedes is no coincidence, there is a cluster of gaming skills in Stockholm, and also a number of partners and subcontractors to the gaming industry.
“Both Carl and Fredrik held senior positions in the industry’s leading companies, their addition will contribute greatly in achieving Aspire Globals growth targets.”
The appointments will see Klingberg also serve as Aspire's new chairman.
"Aspire Global is an exciting company facing accelerated development in a rapidly growing market,” Klingberg commented. “I feel honoured to take on this assignment. I have great respect for Aspire's management and what it has accomplished. I will try to contribute with my knowledge in the field, my experiences and my network so that the company can continue to develop in the same positive way."
