Toronto-listed gaming supplier NYX Gaming Group has added to its commercial team with the appointment of Steve Mayes as sales director.
Mayes joins from rival supplier Playtech where he served as commercial manager for the company’s Open Platform and third-party game providers since January 2015.
He had initially been part of the Ash Gaming commercial team before it was acquired by Playtech, and also previously served in various operational and management roles at bet365.
“We are happy to welcome Steve to the NYX Gaming Group team where he will have an integral role within our strategy that will further improve the products we offer our customers,” said NYX Gaming chief executive Matt Davey.
“Steve has extensive experience in the betting and gaming industry following his time at bet365 and Playtech. He will be a valuable member of our third-party network and we look forward to working alongside him.”
The new role will see Mayes assume responsibility for growing NYX’s network of third-party suppliers, including game developers, payment providers and trading services across its sportsbook, casino, lottery and bingo operations.
