New senior vice president of strategy and M&A Michael Daly reveals what to expect from Caesars as it emerges from bankruptcy and restructuring.

Michael Daly joined Caesars as senior vice president of strategy and M&A in July this year, following a major restructuring.

He says that what attracted him most to Caesars was the team. “Caesars president and CEO, Mark Frissora, and Eric Hession, Caesars CFO, have assembled a terrific group of industry experts who have built a culture of creativity with a results-driven approach. The company is a market leader with great brand value, and these assets give me the opportunity to apply my skills in a new and different way. Caesars is in an exciting, multifaceted, heavily regulated and complex industry with limitless opportunities for expansion.”

Daly sees an opportunity to “reinvigorate” the world’s most recognisable casino brand after two years of Chapter 11 proceedings, which culminated in a deal with creditors in January this year.
