Online gaming operator Betway has named director of marketing and operations Anthony Werkman as its new chief executive officer.
Werkman has been with the company since 2013 and replaces Richard Akitt, who is now company chairman.
Akitt hands the reins to Werkman after five years as chief executive, during which time the business has grown from a minor industry player to a high-profile iGaming brand sponsoring numerous sports.
