Oslo-listed Gaming Innovation Group (GIG) has appointed Anna-Lena Åström as head of investor relations and corporate communications.

She joins from sports betting provider Kambi Group, where she served in a similar role for nearly four years.

Åström has over 20 years of global experience in the financial sector and will report directly to GiG group chief executive Robin Reed.

Prior to joining Kambi in April 2014, Åström worked at London-based advisory firm Edison Investment Research, serving as European account director.

Shares in Gaming Innovation Group Inc (OSL:GIG) were trading up 1.78 per cent at NOK5.73 per share in Oslo Friday morning.
