London-listed gaming and bingo operator Rank Group has confirmed that its long-serving finance director Clive Jennings will leave the company later this month.

Jennings has been with the company since 2000, joining as financial controller of Rank's gaming division before being appointed group finance director in July 2011.

He will step down from his role to pursue other opportunities on August 17th.

"I would like to thank Clive for all of his hard work and dedication to Rank over the past 18 years,” said Rank chairman Ian Burke. “Clive has led the finance team through a number of complex acquisitions and regulatory changes and the board wishes him well in his future endeavours."

Jennings commented: "I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with Rank and I wish Ian, John and the team all the best with future plans as I take on my next challenge."

Rank confirmed that it has commenced the search for a successor and will provide an update as and when appropriate.

Shares in Rank Group plc (LSE:RNK) were trading up 0.56 per cent at 179.80 pence per share in London early Friday morning.
