Las Vegas-based supplier Aristocrat Technologies has appointed renowned slot game designer Allon Engleman as senior vice president of game development.

Engleman most recently served at Scientific Games as SVP and chief design officer for the past three years.

Prior to that he spent nearly six years at WMS Gaming, initially as VP of game design and strategy, and then VP and design chief. An experienced slot game designer, Engleman also holds various patents relating to gaming systems and methods for wagering games.

In his new role at Aristocrat Technologies, the US subsidiary of Australia’s Aristocrat Leisure, Engleman will lead a studio focused on creating content for the North American market.

He will be based in Aristocrat’s new office in Las Vegas and will begin the new role on October 15th.

Shares in Aristocrat Leisure Limited (ASX:ALL) were trading down 0.95 per cent at AUD$27.23 per share in Sydney Tuesday afternoon.
