Australia’s Victorian Commission for Gambling Regulation (VCGR), the statutory authority in charge of regulating the state of Victoria’s gambling industry, has announced that its executive commissioner and chief executive officer Peter Cohen has resigned after twenty-seven years with the public service.
Cohen, who until recently chaired the International Association of Gambling Regulators, was the inaugural executive commissioner when the VCGR took over regulating all gambling in the state in July 2004.
