AGA to submit own online poker proposal

American gaming operators have increased pressure on the government to regulate online gambling, unveiling plans Tuesday to submit their own online poker legislation to Congress.

Executives from Ameristar Casinos, Boyd Gaming and Isle of Capri Casinos, together with American Gaming Association (AGA) chief executive Frank Fahrenkopf, said that regulation at a federal level is the best way to provide certainty to the industry and stronger safeguards for consumers.
