UK-based spread betting firm Spreadex has seen the number of bets placed on football double over the past three years as the company’s pre-tax profits grew by more than 25 per cent for the year ended May 31st.
Turnover for the year increased by 14 per cent to £29.4m compared to the same period a year ago, with profit before tax climbing 25 per cent to £14.4m.
