Committee: UK Gambling Act “inadequate” for online sector

The UK’s Commons Culture, Media and Sport Committee has called on the Treasury to work with online gambling industry stakeholders to establish the correct level for the UK’s point of consumption remote gambling tax, while also labelling the Gambling Act 2005 as “inadequate" to cope with the realities of the global market in online gambling.
