The world’s biggest lottery, El Gordo, will be made available to residents of the Dominican Republic following a ten-year agreement between the country’s national lottery operator and the Spanish state-owned lottery Sociedad Estatal de Loterías y Apuestas del Estado (SELAE).
The lottery operators said that the deal was a first of its kind in Latin America, and would look to replicate the success of the EuroMillions game in Europe.
