Barry Nightingale, the group finance director of UK betting and gaming operator Betfred, is to step down after almost seven years in the role, to be replaced by group financial controller Nicola Barr.
During his tenure at Betfred, Nightingale led the company’s £265m acquisition of the Tote and its subsequent integration, as well as commercial negotiations with 60 UK racecourses.
