Finnish state-owned operator Veikkaus has replaced the Betsson-owned brand NordicBet as sponsor of Finnish ice hockey team Jokerit, agreeing the high-profile deal just days after it was banned from advertising its products at retail sales outlets.
The two-year deal will see Veikkaus’ logo appear on the team’s kit, with its branding featuring at the team’s stadium and on its website.
