Germany’s Lotto and Toto Association (DLTB) has strongly criticised the European Commission’s (EC) recommendations for iGaming controls, arguing that it fails to make provisions to help Member States tackle illegal gaming operators.
DLTB chiefs Michael Burkert and Peter Jacoby, who also serve as managing directors of the Saarland-Sporttoto, said that they acknowledged the EC’s efforts to improve consumer protection for online gaming consumers.
