Zynga’s delayed roll-out of revamped Zynga Poker and Words with Friends products has forced the company to reduce its full-year outlook, with second quarter revenue down 33.5 per cent year-on-year.
Earnings for the second quarter fell to $153.2m, with revenue for the six months ending June 30th down 35 per cent to $321.3m. Bookings for the quarter were also down, falling 6.7 per cent year-on-year to $175.1m, although this represented a 9 per cent quarter-on-quarter rise.
