Lottery sales in China have fallen for the eighth consecutive month, with results in January declining by 17 per cent to RMB32.64bn (€4.5bn) compared to the same period last year.
There were year-on-year declines across both the Welfare and Sports Lotteries, which continue to be negatively impacted by the ongoing suspension of online sales by the country’s government since March 2015.
