Cellectivity’s Bet2Go Launches iPhone Betting App

15th December 2009 8:56 am GMT

Cellectivity has launched an iPhone version of its Bet2Go mobile sports betting and odds comparison service which allows customers to compare prices and place bets across a range of the UK's leading bookmakers, including the likes of Ladbrokes, Paddy Power and Sportingbet.

The Bet2Go iPhone app offers all of the Bet2Go functionality, with users required to register only once before being able to place bets, and looks to capitalise on the increasing availability and popularity of iPhones in the UK where mobile operators Orange and Vodafone have both recently introduced the handset.

Customers can also place a range of accumulator and multiple bets with any one of the listed bookmakers, which also includes Blue Square, SkyBet, BoyleSports, Victor Chandler and soon William Hill.

In addition, Bet2Go will also offer a full compliment of mobile and online games including poker, bingo, casino and slots following an agreement last month with technology partner Plus-Five, a subsidiary of AliQuantuim Gaming. These product extensions will be rolled out as iPhone apps in early 2010.

"An iPhone app has been in our product strategy for a long time and now that the market is widening to include both Orange & Vodafone the timing is perfect for us to launch our new product," said Marcel Puyk, CEO of Cellectivity.

"Unlike other sportsbooks recently launched on the iPhone, this one is the first and only one that allows users to compare the best odds amongst some of the biggest bookmakers operating in the UK so that our customers can choose the best price, and place their bets in just 2 clicks. We now support all of the major mobile platforms, providing users with the widest possible choice.

"Bet2Go has had a very exciting year with the launch of multiples & accumulator betting, securing William Hill to join the service and the expansion of the service to include casino, bingo & poker games. The launch of the iPhone app is just a continuation of the hard work we've been doing," added Puyk.
