The UK government has launched a third and final consultation to seek views on a bespoke statutory framework that could replace the Horserace Betting Levy with a racing right.
It builds on two previous consultations on Levy reform or replacement conducted in 2014, and follows a commitment from UK Chancellor George Osborne to consult on a racing right in last December’s budget statement.
