Swedish regulator reports unlicensed lottery operator to police

Swedish gambling regulator Lotteriinspektionen has reported unlicensed lottery operator Garantispelet to the police for breaching the terms of the country’s Lotteries Act.

Following advice from the public, the regulator said that it had reviewed Garantispelet’s lottery subscription offering, which allows players to purchase lottery tickets via the internet, and reported the operator to the police.

Garantispelet is targeted exclusively at Swedish customers, and claims to accept payments from a number of Swedish banks including Nordea, Swedbank, Handelsbanken, [...]
