The UK Gambling Commission and the Alderney Gambling Control Commission have suspended Metro Play’s operating licence, under which the MetroPlay.com and 666Bet.com sites are offered to UK customers, while both of the regulators undertake a review of the business.
The Gambling Commission has begun its review under section 116 of the 2005 Gambling Act, as it “suspects that Metro Play Limited (the Licensee) is unsuitable to carry on the licensed activities.”
