German lottery brokerage ZEAL Network has warned that its consolidated earnings will be negatively impacted by approximately €9.5m after a player won a jackpot of €48m through a secondary lottery held by its UK-based subsidiary MyLotto24.
The company said that while the prize pay-out is covered by hedging instruments established by MyLotto24, its full year earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) would still be negatively impacted by €9.5m.
