Åland's Paf has launched the world's first health insurance for online gamblers, guaranteeing cognitive behavioural therapy free-of-charge to players who develop a gambling addiction.
The insurance is available to adults who have been customers of Paf for at least twelve months and staked a minimum of €120 in that period, and who are then diagnosed with a gambling addiction.
