MDI Entertainment, a wholly owned subsidiary of Scientific Games Corporation, has signed a six-year extension to its licensing partnership with the National Basketball Association (NBA), under which MDI will continue to offer U.S state lotteries NBA team-branded instant win games.
MDI said that since it first obtained the licence for the lottery category in 2002, a total of 19 lotteries have implemented 25 different NBA games, with a retail value of tickets printed topping $300m.
