Looking to develop its international operations through the enhanced transparency and reputational benefits of being a publicly listed company, online betting exchange Betfair confirmed Tuesday that it intends to apply for admission to trade its shares on the main market of the London Stock Exchange.
Betfair has a diverse shareholder base including a group of 14 major investors holding approximately 75 per cent of the company’s fully diluted share capital.
