The regulated Danish gambling market remains on course to generate gross gaming revenue of DKK8.85bn (€1.19bn) in 2016, despite recording a decline in sports betting and gaming machines revenue during the third quarter of the year.
Following strong growth during the first two quarters, total betting gross gaming revenue (GGR) fell by 7 per cent to DKK520m in Q3, marking the first year-on-year decline in the product vertical since the liberalisation of the market in 2012.
