Caesars’ $45m acquisition of 51 per cent of social games developer Playtika should open a few eyes. The US casino giant is all over the online space right now. It has been cutting deals with important local players such as Barriere in France and Microgame in Italy that suggest it isn’t fumbling blindly in the dark looking for online expertise.
