A Bulgarian national suspected of operating an illegal gambling business has been shot dead in Sofia.
The Bulgarian Interior Ministry said that police were called to an incident Wednesday morning in the city of Sofia where they found a 40-year old man who was known to them as the subject of illegal gambling investigations.
