French gaming operator PMU has reported a 1 per cent increase in turnover to €2,485.9m for the third quarter of 2012, with strong growth from the company’s online operations offsetting a decline from its core horse race betting business.
PMU said that its horse race betting business remained resilient during the third quarter despite a number of major sporting events taking place this summer, including the Tour de France and the London Olympics.
