GameAccount Network managing director Dermot Smurfit is in a buoyant mood. GameAccount’s relationship with Australian slot machine giant Aristocrat is going great guns. They look set to beat chief rivals Bally, IGT and WMS to the gaming floors of the US with the first converged land to online freeplay system.

The pair are happily transferring games from land to online and vice versa. GameAccount is ready to launch its Spanish network. Smurfit has a new poker product, which he believes has a real USP. And Smurfit has just won a place in the inaugural Gaming Intelligence Hot 50.
