The board of US gaming supplier International Game Technology (IGT) is set for a battle with a group of shareholders linked to former chairman and chief executive Charles Mathewson, who are seeking to nominate four director to the IGT board at the upcoming annual meeting of shareholders.

IGT said Monday that Ader Investment Management, working in conjunction with and on behalf of Mathewson, intends to nominate four people for election to the IGT board, including Mathewson and Ader Investment founder Jason Ader.
