The government of the Isle of Man plans to introduce a regime to help protect consumers who use digital currencies such as Bitcoin.
The Department of Economic Development said Tuesday that its aim is to provide an environment for high-quality businesses to operate in this "rapidly emerging field", while helping to protect businesses and consumers alike through the application of appropriate anti-money laundering requirements.
