bwin.party chief executive Norbert Teufelberger has laid out plans to revitalise the business through the launch of several new products after admitting that the company had fallen behind its competitors, with the re-launch of its revamped PartyPoker offering expected to go live in the next few weeks.

Teufelberger said that while bwin.party’s product offering is “characterised by strong brands”, its competitors had “overtaken the business due to a lack of product innovation and mobile offerings” over the past two years.

He attributed this to the focus on integrating the bwin and PartyGaming offerings on to a single platform, with the process “now 85 per cent complete” with just France and Italy to be moved onto the single platform.
