Slovenian technology provider ComTrade Gaming has signed a deal to provide its game server technology to Ainsworth Game Technology as the Australian gaming supplier prepares to deliver its land-based slot games to the online arena.

The technology supply agreement will see ComTrade provide its gCore game server and its online development experience to speed up the delivery of Ainsworth’s land-based slot games to the online market.

ComTrade claims that its game service allows operators with third party or white label solutions a way of making custom changes faster, integrate new content quicker and gain more control over their players’ experience.

ComTrade Gamin’s general manager Aleš Gornjec said: “Ainsworth Gaming Technology is a well-respected industry player with a history in land based gaming. This just goes to show that the gap is closing between the online and land based industries.

“We believe that ComTrade Gaming’s experience and development strengths will accelerate Ainsworth growth in the iGaming space, and we look forward to developing this relationship further.”

Ainsworth CEO Danny Gladstone added: “ComTrade Gaming provided Ainsworth with a technology package and support base to enable Ainsworth to embark upon an expanded interactive strategy. This agreement will allow Ainsworth to acquire ComTrade Gaming’s extensive online development experience and provide a proven games delivery pathway to selected online markets.”

Shares in Ainsworth Game Technology Limited (Co. Data) (ASX:AGI) closed earlier today at AUD$4.55 per share in Sydney, having gained 7.16 per cent in trading yesterday.
