French online gaming operator Betclic Everest has seen its financial results vastly improve following two difficult years, with the company now preparing to relaunch its poker offering in a bid to establish itself as one of the top three operators in the vertical.

While the operator was unwilling to share detailed financial information, chief executive Isabelle Andres revealed that consolidated group EBITDA is expected to double year-on-year to more than €20m in Betclic’s full year 2013 results, with the group “definitively back to profitability” after several years of heavy losses.
