The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) has given most of the state’s land-based casinos and their online gaming partners the green light to launch their iGaming offerings, with Golden Nugget the only casino to delay its official launch after failing to secure DGE approval.

Golden Nugget said Monday that it will delay the launch of its Bally Technologies-powered site by one week, after its iGaming team decided that more work was needed to improve the customer experience.

The company’s vice president of internet gaming operations Thomas Winter explained that “there is nothing more important to the Golden Nugget than our player satisfaction.”
