Thomas Winter, Golden Nugget-operator Landry’s vice president of online gaming, discusses his experience overseeing the company’s iGaming launch in New Jersey and the issues still effecting the newly-regulated market.

While November 26th saw the majority of operators sending out releases triumphantly announcing their online arrival, Golden Nugget was forced to delay its launch by one week in order to complete multiple integrations with service providers and “improve the customer experience”.

Thomas Winter, the company’s vice president of online gaming, remained bullish at the time: “Being among the first to launch our online gaming site is not what is important to us,” he said. “It is more important to be among the best.”
