Racing Queensland is looking to transform horse race betting across the state by developing a “new world of wagering” by offering leading national and international betting operators a chance to compete in a market previously operated under an exclusive arrangement by Tatts Group.

Tatts’ exclusive agreement with Racing Queensland ends later this year on June 30th, with the company currently the only authorised totalisator at pubs, clubs and racetracks across the state.

Racing Queensland, the governing body for all three codes of racing in the state of Queensland (thoroughbreds, harness and greyhounds), has distributed an expression of interest prospectus to leading operators seeking their innovation for a “new and exciting Queensland wagering landscape.”
