UK and Irish horse racing broadcaster At the Races (ATR) has announced plans to launch a new Alderney-based joint venture business with tote software development company i-neda Limited.

The new JV will be a based in Alderney and operate under Global Mutuel Limited.

The company will specialize in offering tote gateway and hubbing services and will be the exclusive operator of i-neda's Opentote gateway software, in relation to international wagering on all UK and Irish horseracing.

Initial markets whose bets will be routed via Global Mutuel's systems will include Vietnam, Israel and Malta.

At The Races CEO Matthew Imi said that i-neda has been a long standing technology partner of both At The Races and the company’s international joint venture business, GBI Racing.

“Their gateway betting technology "Opentote" has been proven to deliver a robust and highly secure betting path for our international horseracing guests and we now look forward to expanding this network of clients not only into the UK and Irish Totes but also into other international pools hosted around the world,” said Imi.
