Casino games developer Core Gaming has agreed a deal to produce a suite of table games for UK online gaming operator Sky Bet.

The first title to launch under the deal is a roulette game for the operator’s Sky Vegas casino site, which has been developed in HTML5 and optimised for tablets. The game features a fully rendered 3d wheel and simulated ball drops and promises regular updates with new features and enhancements.

Core Gaming’s chief commercial officer Mark Rehorst-Smith said his team had been eager to demonstrate the power of its HTML5 offering, and described the partnership with Sky Bet as the perfect opportunity to do so.

“The finished product has exceeded all expectations; from its innovative bet placement mechanism, to its fully rendered 3D wheel with bespoke physics engine,” Rehorst-Smith explained. “The game will be one of the first truly multi-channel deliveries, another achievement that confirms CORE's place at the forefront of the Development sector.”

“We are thrilled to be working with Sky, one of the UK’s most successful casino brands, and we look forward to rolling out more table games in the next few months,” he added.

Sky Bet’s head of casino and games Samuel Downey said that having set Core the challenge of creating the best roulette game for mobile and tablet devices, the supplier had exceeded the operator’s expectations.

“With the launch of Sky Roulette, we are truly productising the Roulette experience for players,” Downey said. “By tracking every in game action, we will continue to evolve the product to ensure it remains the best Roulette experience in the market.”
