UK and Irish horse racing broadcaster At The Races (ATR) has agreed the renewal of its second media rights deal this week following an agreement with Plumpton Racecourse.

ATR will retain exclusive cross platform media rights excluding distribution into licensed betting offices in the UK and Ireland for the next five years until August 2019. ATR will also be the exclusive distributor of Plumpton's terrestrial television rights to UK broadcasters.

It follows a similar arrangement with Ripon Racecourse, which was also announced yesterday.

ATR expects to deliver improved media rights revenues for Plumpton Racecourse from the outset of the new term. As part of the new agreement, Plumpton Racecourse will be offered a seat on the ATR board and will be integrally involved in the strategic direction of its rights management.
