Williams Interactive, the online gaming arm of Scientific Games Corporation, confirmed Wednesday that it has exited the B2C real-money gaming business in the UK in order to focus its efforts on publishing and distributing its interactive casino gaming products.

The company’s UK-facing JackpotParty.com ceased operations on Tuesday, with all players migrated to SlotsMagic.com, a new online casino built on the SkillOnNet gaming platform specifically for JackpotParty.com players.

Orrin Edidin, CEO of Williams Interactive, said that after four years operating the JackpotParty.com online casino, the company is now focusing its efforts and resources on the “best-in-class digital distribution of our unrivaled content library of casino games.”

“As we make this important step forward in our company’s journey to provide the world’s most compelling iGaming experiences, we have great confidence that SkillOnNet is the perfect partner to continue delivering the high-end player experience for which JackpotParty.com is known,” said Edidin.

Williams Interactive provides a portfolio of WMS Gaming and Barcrest slot themes to the iGaming industry including games such as Gold Fish, Super Jackpot Party, Rainbow Riches, Zeus as well as other licensed entertainment games, in addition to game engines Colossal Reels, Money Burst and Super Multi-Pay.

Andy Andrew, business development manager for SkillOnNet, said that the company is proud to be working with Williams Interactive on a project of “such magnitude for our first real foray into the UK market.”

“SkillOnNet will offer the same classic WMS slots JackpotParty.com players have come to love, plus our suite of exclusive 3D slots and games from many other popular slot providers,” said Andrew. “Acquiring the activity of JackpotParty.com will put SkillOnNet in position to become a serious player in the very competitive UK market.”

SkillOnNet platforms have been integrated with the Williams Interactive Remote Game Server, allowing players to have access to WMS and Barcrest online slot games on both desktop and mobile devices.

With licences in Malta, Denmark and Schleswig Holstein, SkillOnNet operates nearly 20 online casinos in 22 languages on its network including the likes of EUCasino, PlayMillion and MegaCasino.
