The quiet man of the Cashcade’s founding team discusses his strategy for disproving the notion of bingo’s downward trend.
Gaming Realms chief executive Patrick Southon is a well-known but rarely-seen industry figure. Despite being one of the founding members of Cashcade, the company behind Foxy Bingo, he tends to work behind the scenes with the likes of Simon Collins – who jokingly describes himself as Southon’s evil twin – more visible.
But with the launch of Gaming Realms he has come to the fore of the project. As a publicly-listed business reuniting Cashcade’s founding team, as well as a number of companies founded by the company’s former employees and businesses Southon and Collins backed through their investment fund NewGame Capital, he clearly believes it is the time to speak out.
